Dr Leong Yong will talk about the importance of emotional intelligence in establishing healthy inter-personal relationships and promoting personal growth, inner security and psychological maturity.

Emotional excellence, he stresses in his book, takes the centre stage in an excellent workplace. How true or relevant is that in this fast-paced work filled with myriad technological advancements will be covered in his talk.

Dr Leong Yong will also present the Leonard Personality Inventory (LPI) model of the holistic individual which is based on his book “Emotional Excellence in the Workplace”.

The LPI is the result of 25 years of teaching and personality research in human psychology. The LPI is available in 8 languages and is one of the first personality profiling programmes which presents a personality report in Malay Language.

Speaker: Dr Leong Yong, is an Educational Psychologist who has gained international recognition for his research and consultancy work on creativity and emotional intelligence. He was a Professor at the University of Malaya’s Department of Educational Psychology & Counseling and also the pioneering Director of University of Malaya Centre for Continuing Education.
